Jeremiah Hambrick
Leading Elder
Jeremiah came to Bedrock Roanoke in June of 2016. He and his wife, Jennifer, met in Roanoke, moved to Durham, NC for 10 years, then moved to Haiti for a year, and have come full circle - back to Roanoke. During all that moving they had 4 awesome kids. They love Roanoke and serving at Bedrock.
Joe Hedrick
Leading Elder
Joe and his wife Stephanie started attending Bedrock Roanoke in 2015. They both grew up in Roanoke and have lived here most of their lives. They have four grown daughters, and love being with family—the Hedrick family and the Bedrock family. Their desire is to see the Bedrock family grow by reaching our community.
Troy Mueller
Leading Elder
Troy came to Bedrock in Sept 2022. He and his wife Isabel have been working in the ministry for over 30 years. They have 3 daughters who live all over the country. Troy is German and is wife is Cuban - American which makes for a really fun time! Troy enjoys hiking, reading, and farming.
Josh Yerkes
Leading Elder & Worship Director
Josh has been a part of Bedrock Roanoke since 2017. He leads worship through singing and playing the guitar, and is passionate about bringing depth and practical formation through the preaching of Scripture.
Sarah Doss
Kidsrock Director
Sarah has spent many years volunteering in children's ministry. She began volunteering in Kidsrock and found herself quickly taking on more roles which lead her to move into the position of Kidsrock Director. Her desire is to come alongside parents, equipping them to raise strong disciples.
Joshwa Poindexter
Bedrock Youth Director
Joshwa and his wife Courtney have been at Bedrock since April 2016. Joshwa was born and raised in the Roanoke area and loves all things outdoors. He also loves working with students, his wife loves all the same things! They both have a desire to see students use their strengths and gifts to reach others with the Gospel.
Carla Yerkes
Creative Arts Director
Carla has been at Bedrock since 2017 and has served on the worship and creative arts teams since. She has spent the past decade working as a graphic designer and marketing strategist and enjoys all kinds of creative outlets, including photography, sewing, painting, songwriting, and much more.
Sarah Hott
Admin Coordinator
Sarah and her husband, Chris, have been at Bedrock since 2015. They love spending time with their families and their five kids. Sarah has a passion for foster care, teaching, and being outside as much as possible. She is gifted in admin and uses her gifts to help Bedrock Roanoke function well.
Hunter & Ella Phillips
Bedrock Residents
After getting married in 2026, Hunter and Ella moved to Roanoke to begin their residency at Bedrock. They met at Liberty University and attended Bedrock Bedford where they developed a passion for church planting. Hunter loves sports and everything outdoors, and Ella loves sunsets and playing piano!
